The photos show my comic broken up into six frames, displayed on easels. The frames have since been mounted on the walls, but I do not have any photos of the new installation to share at the moment!

Luxembourg is a country with three official languages: French, German, and the national language Luxembourgish. Besides the three official languages, English is also commonly spoken. The team behind Äerdschëff asked me to provide them with the German-language translation of Energy Slaves (Energiesklaven), and they have printed versions of the English and French language Energy Slaves comics on hand for people who prefer those languages.

About Äerdschëff

Äerdschëff is an environmental learning centre in Luxembourg built using the principles of Earthships, pioneered by Michael Reynolds. (Äerdschëff is the translation of the word “Earthship” in Luxembourgish.) The building is built with re-purposed and sustainable materials, like earth-packed used tyres. The building hosts a variety of workshops and events, relating to environmentally-friendly living.

Images from the construction of Äerdschëff can be found on the gallery page on their website. There is an in-depth 5-minute video about the project available to stream via RTL Play.

It’s great having my artwork on display on the opposite side of the world! As mentioned, the artwork frames have since been mounted on the walls, and I will post photos of the new arragement ASAP.
